The Explorers are the newest members
of the group. Explorer Scouts was set up in 2002 by the Scout Association
for the 14 to 18 year olds and replaces the old Venture Scouts.
Our unit, ‘The Tomahawks’ is part of a collection
of units from around the Erith
and Crayford district. As an Explorer Scout, you will get the
chance to work with other Explorer Scouts in our District, not just
our Unit. By doing this, you will get the chance to do many more actvities
and not just the ones our Unit organises.
We have Scouts join from different troops around the district. So
far these are the 4th, 12th and 16th Erith Scout troops. We value
their support, and hope they continue to supply us new members.
Our activities include Hiking, Camping, Trips to London, Cooking,
Creative writing, Film making and many more.. |
